Introduction

Welcome to Lima First Assembly of God, a vibrant community of believers dedicated to living out our faith in God and serving others. In this section, we will explore our core beliefs as a church and the values that guide our community.

Faith in God

At Lima First Assembly of God, we firmly believe in the existence and nature of God. We believe in the Holy Trinity – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – as one God in three Persons. Our faith in God is the foundation of our relationship with Him and the source of our strength.

Beliefs in Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who came to earth, lived a sinless life, died on the cross to save humanity from sin, and rose again on the third day. Jesus is our Savior and Lord, and through Him, we have eternal life and forgiveness of sins.

The Bible - God's Word

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and serves as our authoritative guide for faith and practice. We value the Scriptures and believe that they provide direction, wisdom, and life-giving truths for all aspects of our lives. We seek to apply the teachings of the Bible in every area of our church and personal lives.

Spiritual Gifts and Ministries

At Lima First Assembly of God, we emphasize the importance of spiritual gifts and their empowerment by the Holy Spirit. We believe that every believer has received unique gifts and talents to be used for the building up of the body of Christ and the advancement of His Kingdom. We encourage the discovery, development, and deployment of these gifts for effective ministry.

Worship and Fellowship

We value heartfelt worship and believe that it is a vital part of our relationship with God. Through vibrant and diverse worship expressions, we seek to honor and connect with Him. Additionally, we recognize the significance of fellowship and the importance of building relationships within our church community.

Community Outreach

As a community-focused church, we are committed to serving and impacting our local community positively. We believe in showing God's love through acts of kindness, compassion, and practical assistance. Our various outreach programs aim to make a difference in the lives of individuals, families, and the community at large.

Recognizing our responsibility to share the message of God's love beyond our local community, we actively support missions and global initiatives.
