Greetings! We are excited to announce the arrival of Awana at Northwest Bible Church, proudly serving the Lima community. As a member of the Lima First Assembly of God, our aim is to provide a vibrant and welcoming environment for individuals and families to grow in their faith and beliefs.
What is Awana?
Awana stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" and is a global, scripture-based ministry focused on helping children and youth develop a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ. Our Awana program encourages spiritual growth by engaging participants in exciting games, inspiring Bible teachings, and meaningful friendships.

Awana Clubs
Our Awana program is divided into different clubs, tailored to engage children and youth at various age groups:
1. Puggles (Ages 2-3):
Puggles is designed to introduce little ones to the love of Jesus through play, hands-on activities, and simple lessons. This club provides a safe and nurturing environment for your child's first steps on their spiritual journey.
2. Cubbies (Ages 3-5):
Cubbies focuses on the preschool years, offering age-appropriate activities that teach children about God's love and His Word. With interactive storytelling, music, and creative play, Cubbies creates a foundation of faith for our youngest participants.
3. Sparks (Grades K-2):
Sparks is specially tailored for children in kindergarten through second grade. It aims to ignite a child's curiosity and desire to learn more about God. Through engaging Bible stories, exciting games, and small group discussions, Sparks provides an immersive experience for spiritual growth.
4. T&T (Grades 3-6):
T&T stands for Truth & Training. This club focuses on teaching children essential truths from God's Word and equips them to navigate the challenges they face in everyday life. T&T combines engaging Bible study, meaningful discussion, and energetic activities to create a dynamic learning environment.
5. Trek (Grades 7-8) and Journey (Grades 9-12):
Our Awana program doesn't stop at elementary school. We also offer Trek and Journey for middle and high school students, respectively. These clubs provide a supportive community for teenagers to explore their faith, ask important questions, and build lasting friendships through biblical discussions and relevant topics.
