The Lima First Assembly of God Community

As a member of the Lima First Assembly of God community, Heritage Baptist Church plays a vital role in fostering unity and spiritual growth. Shared Beliefs

At Lima First Assembly of God and Heritage Baptist Church, we share a common foundation of faith. We firmly believe in the teachings of the Bible and strive to live them out in our daily lives. 1. The Trinity

We believe in the Holy Trinity – God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Our faith is rooted in the understanding of three distinct persons in one divine essence, co-equal and co-eternal.

2. Salvation

We believe that salvation is a gift from God, made possible through faith in Jesus Christ. Through His life, death, and resurrection, we receive forgiveness for our sins and eternal life in His presence.

3. The Church

We recognize the Church as the body of Christ, where believers come together to worship, learn, and support one another. It is through the Church that we express our faith, serve the community, and fulfill God's purposes.

4. Baptism and Communion

We practice baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith, symbolizing our identification with Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection. Additionally, we regularly partake in communion, remembering Jesus' sacrifice and the new covenant He established with His followers.

Missions and Outreach

Both Lima First Assembly of God and Heritage Baptist Church are actively engaged in missions and outreach programs. Our goal is to extend the love of Christ beyond our church walls and impact the world for His glory.
